Diagnostic value of squamous cell carcinoma antigen,pro-gastrin-releasing peptide and neuron specific enolase in lung cancer
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCCA),pro-gastrin-re-leasing peptide(ProGRP)and neuron specific enolase(NSE).Method A total of 43 patients with lung cancer and 35 pa-tients with benign lung disease were selected as lung cancer group and benign group, respectively. The levels of serum ProGRP,NSE and SCCA were detected by chemiluminescence analyzer and automatic biochemical analyzer. The levels of SCCA,ProGRP and NSE were compared between the two groups. The influencing factors of the occurrence of lung cancer and the diagnostic value of SCCA,ProGRP and NSE single and combined detection for lung cancer were ana-lyzed.Result The levels of SCCA,ProGRP and NSE in lung cancer group were significantly higher than those in be-nign group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The SCCA,ProGRP and NSE were independent risk factors for lung cancer(P<0.05).The area under the curve(AUC),sensitivity and specificity of SCCA,ProGRP and NSE combined detection in the diagnosis of lung cancer were higher than those of SCCA,ProGRP and NSE single detec-tion.Conclusion The SCCA,NSE and ProGRP are highly expressed in patients with lung cancer, and may be good se-rum tumor marker for lung cancer, and the combined detection has good diagnostic value.
