Diagnostic value of ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy in early breast cancer
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy in early breast cancer.Method A total of 105 patients with suspected early breast cancer were selected, and all patients underwent ultrasound examination and ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy. The diagnostic value of ultrasound examination and ultrasound-guid-ed puncture biopsy for early breast cancer was evaluated based on the results of pathological examination.Result Patho-logical results showed that among 105 suspected early breast cancer patients,49 cases were benign and 56 cases were ma-lignant(early breast cancer),including 34 cases of intraductal carcinoma,13 cases of lobular carcinoma in situ, and 9 cas-es of papillary eczematoid carcinoma. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predic-tive value of ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy in the diagnosis of early breast cancer were 92.86%,100%,96.19%,100%and 92.45%,respectively,which were higher than those of ultrasound examination in 78.57%,91.84%,84.76%,91.67%and 78.95%.Conclusion Ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy has high value in the diagnosis of early breast cancer.
