Predictive value of combined detection of interleukin-6,interleukin-8,interferon-γ and tumor necrosis factor-α for pneumonia after laparoscopic radical gastrectomy
Objective To analyze the predictive value of combined detection of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8),interferon-γ(IFN-γ)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)for pneumonia after laparoscopic radical gastrectomy.Method A total of 72 patients with gastric cancer were divided into observation group(complicated with pneumonia,n= 30)and control group(without pneumonia,n=42)based on whether developed pneumonia after surgery. The levels of se-rum IL-6,IL-8,IFN-γ and TNF-α in the two groups were compared, and the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the predictive value of serum IL-6,IL-8,IFN-γ and TNF-α single and combined detection for pneumonia after laparoscopic radical gastrectomy.Result The levels of serum IL-6,IL-8,IFN-γ and TNF-α in the ob-servation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The sensitivity(94.85%)of combined detection of serum IL-6,IL-8,IFN-γ and TNF-α in predicting pneumonia af-ter laparoscopic radical gastrectomy was higher than that of single detection(75.12%,71.86%,69.82%,72.84%).Conclu-sion The levels of serum IL-6,IL-8,IFN-γ and TNF-α in patients with pneumonia after laparoscopic radical gastrecto-my are abnormally increased, and combined detection can improve the predictive sensitivity of pneumonia, which has cer-tain reference value.
