Application effect of graded intervention based on Caprini scale in elderly patients undergoing lung cancer surgery
Objective To investigate the application effect of graded intervention based on Caprini scale in elderly pa-tients undergoing lung cancer surgery.Method A total of 206 elderly patients with lung cancer who underwent surgical treatment were divided into control group(n=103)and observation group(n=103)according to different intervention methods.Patients in the control group received routine intervention, and patients in the observation group received graded intervention based on Caprini scale on the basis of the control group. The incidence of venous thromboembolism,maxi-mum width of thrombus, postoperative recovery indicators, quality of life[European Organization for Research and Treat-ment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30)]and satisfaction[Newcastle satisfaction with nursing scale(NSNS)]were compared between the two groups.Result After surgery, the incidence of venous thrombo-embolism and maximum width of thrombus in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The chest tube indwelling time, postoperative bedridden time and postoperative hospitalization time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.01).After intervention, the scores of physical func-tion,emotional function, social function and cognitive function in the two groups were higher than those before interven-tion,and the above scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Graded intervention based on Caprini scale can reduce the incidence of venous thromboembolism in elderly patients undergoing lung cancer surgery, promote postoperative recovery of patients, and im-prove patients'quality of life and satisfaction.
