Analysis of the diagnostic value of MRI in lymph node metastasis of lung cancer
Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of MRI in lymph node metastasis of lung cancer.Method Sixty patients with lung cancer were examined by MRI.The diagnostic efficacy of MRI for lymph node metastasis of lung cancer was analyzed by surgical pathology as the gold standard.Sixty patients were divided into metastasis group and non-metastasis group according to the results of surgical pathology, the MRI related parameters of the two groups were compared. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of MRI pa-rameters for lymph node metastasis of lung cancer.Result By surgical pathology as the gold standard, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of MRI in the diagnosis of lymph node metastasis of lung cancer were 88.57%(31/35),96.00%(24/25),91.67%(55/60),respectively.The result of MRI in the diagnosis of lymph node metastasis of lung cancer was highly consistent with the result of surgical pathology(Kappa=0.690).The volume transfer constant(Ktrans),extravascular extracellular volume fraction(Ve),lesion-to-spinal cord ratio(LSR),and standardized uptake value(SUV)in the metasta-sis group were significantly higher than those in the non-metastasis group, and the apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)was significantly lower than that in the non-metastasis group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).ROC curve showed that Ktrans,Ve,ADC,LSR and SUV had high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of lymph node metas-tasis of lung cancer. Conclusion MRI has a high diagnostic efficiency for lymph node metastasis of lung cancer.
