Application effect of continuous positive airway pressure in elderly patients with gynecological malignant tumors undergoing surgery
Objective To investigate the application effect of continuous positive airway pressure(CPAP)in elderly patients with gynecological malignant tumors undergoing surgery.Method A total of 75 elderly patients with gynecolog-ical malignant tumors undergoing surgery were divided into control group(n=39,nasal catheter combined with mask oxy-gen therapy)and study group(n=36,CPAP therapy)according to different postoperative treatment methods. The vital signs[mean arterial pressure(MAP),heart rate(HR),arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2)],inflammatory factor indexes[in-terleukin(IL)-8,IL-10 and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α],and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Result After treatment, the MAP,and HR in two groups were significantly lower than those before treat-ment,SaO2 were significantly higher than those before treatment,MAP and HR in study group were significantly lower than those in control group,SaO2 was significantly higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically sig-nificant(P<0.01).After treatment, the IL-8,TNF-α levels in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,IL-10 levels in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, the IL-8,TNF-α levels in the study group were statistically lower than those in the control group, the IL-10 level in the study group was statistically higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The total incidence of complications of the study group was 5.56%,which was lower than 20.51%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the postoperative treatment of elderly patients with gynecological malig-nant tumors,CPAP can stabilize the vital signs of patients, reduce the inflammatory response, and prevent the occurrence of hypoxemia, which has certain clinical application value.
