Effect of risk factor prevention and control intervention on negative emotions in cervical cancer patients during the perioperative period
Objective To investigate the effect of risk factor prevention and control intervention on negative emo-tions in cervical cancer patients during the perioperative period.Method A total of 85 cervical cancer patients were di-vided into control group(n=43)and observation group(n=42)based on different perioperative intervention methods. The patients in the control group received routine intervention, while the patients in the observation group received risk factor prevention and control intervention. The negative emotions[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],satisfaction, compliance, quality of life[quality of life instruments for cancer patients-cervical cancer(QLICP-CE)],and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Result After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the observa-tion group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After in-tervention,the satisfaction and compliance scores of both groups were higher than those before intervention, the satisfac-tion and compliance scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of the QLICP-CE scale in both groups were higher than those before intervention, the scores of all dimensions of the QLICP-CE scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 11.90%,which was lower than 30.23%in the control group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Risk factor prevention and control intervention can effectively al-leviate perioperative anxiety and depression in cervical cancer patients, improve treatment satisfaction,compliance,quali-ty of life, and reduce the occurrence of complications.
