Effect of cytoreductive surgery combined with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy on the tumor reduction satisfaction rate and prognosis of patients with endometrial cancer
Objective To explore the effect of cytoreductive surgery(CDS)combined with hyperthermic intraperito-neal chemotherapy(HIPEC)on the tumor reduction satisfaction rate and prognosis of patients with endometrial cancer(EC).Method A total of 124 patients with EC were divided into study group and control group according to different treatment regimens, with 62 cases in each group. The control group was treated with CDS and paclitaxel combined with carboplatin, and the study group was treated with HIPEC on the basis of the control group. The operation time,intraopera-tive peritoneal effusion volume, clinical efficacy, survival rate, adverse reactions and recurrence were compared between the two groups.Result The operation time of the study group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the volume of intraoperative peritoneal effusion was significantly less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The total effective rate and tumor reduction satisfaction rate in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 24 months after op-eration,the survival rate of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was sta-tistically significant(P<0.01).The incidence of nausea, numbness and recurrence rate in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion CDS combined with HIPEC is effective in the treatment of EC,which can shorten the operation time, reduce the volume of intraoperative peri-toneal effusion, increase the tumor reduction satisfaction rate, and improve the survival rate of patients.
