Objective To investigate the effect of step-psychological intervention on pain,negative emotion and qual-ity of life in patients with bone cancer.Method A total of 120 patients with bone cancer were divided into observation group(n=60)and control group(n=60)according to different intervention methods.Both groups of patients received con-ventional treatment,observation group received step-psychological intervention on the basis of the control group.The scores of numerical rating scale(NRS),hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS),the MOS 36-item short form health survey(SF-36)and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)were compared between the two groups.Result At re-view,NRS and PSQI scores in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).At review,the HADS-A and HSDS-D scores in two groups were lower than those at admission,and the HADS-A and HADS-D scores in observation group were lower than those in control group,the dif-ferences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At review,the scores of physiological function,emotional function,men-tal health and social function in two groups were higher than those at admission,and the scores of above items in observa-tion group were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Step-psychological intervention can effectively relieve pain,improve negative emotion,quality of life and sleep quality in patients with bone cancer.
