Objective To investigate the influencing factors of postoperative nosocomial infection in patients with brain glioma.Method A total of 688 patients with brain glioma surgery were selected, the clinical characteristics of pa-tients with and without postoperative nosocomial infection were compared.Binary Logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of postoperative nosocomial infection in patients with brain glioma.Result Univariate analysis showed that age, operation time, histological grade, diabetes mellitus, ventricular drainage and ventricular drain-age time may be the influencing factors of postoperative nosocomial infection in brain glioma patients(P<0.05).Multivar-iate Logistic regression analysis showed that age≥60 years old, operation time≥4 h,combined diabetes mellitus,ventricu-lar drainage and ventricular drainage time≥2 days were independent risk factors for postoperative nosocomial infection in brain glioma patients(P<0.01).Conclusion Age≥60 years old, operation time≥4 h,combined diabetes mellitus,ventric-ular drainage and ventricular drainage time≥2 days were independent risk factors for postoperative nosocomial infection in brain glioma patients.Medical staff should pay close attention to people at high risk of infection and implement preven-tive nursing interventions in time,so as to create conditions for early treatment of patients.
