Analysis of influencing factors of dysphagia in patients with head and neck cancer after radiotherapy
Objective To explore the influencing factors of dysphagia in patients with head and neck cancer(HNC)after radiotherapy.Method A total of 117 patients with HNC were divided into observation group(n=48,dysphagia)and control group(n=69,no dysphagia)according to whether dysphagia occurred after radiotherapy. The clinical data of the two groups were compared, and the influencing factors of dysphagia in HNC patients after radiotherapy were ana-lyzed by binary Logistic regression model.Result There were significant differences in gender, smoking history, tumor location and radiation dose between the two groups(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that male, tumor location in the neck, ear, nose and throat, and high radiation dose were independent risk factors for dyspha-gia in HNC patients after radiotherapy(P<0.05).Conclusion Male, tumor location in the neck, ear, nose and throat, and high radiation dose are independent risk factors for dysphagia in HNC patients after radiotherapy, clinical staff should pay attention to it.
