Effects of systematic intervention on psychological status and quality of life in emergency patients with liver cancer complicated with gastrointestinal bleeding
Objective To explore the effects of systematic intervention on psychological status and quality of life in emergency patients with liver cancer complicated with gastrointestinal bleeding.Method A total of 101 patients with emergency liver cancer combined with gastrointestinal bleeding were divided into control group(n=50)and observation group(n=51)according to the intervention methods. The control group received routine intervention, while the observa-tion group received systematic intervention on the basis of the control group. The hemostatic effect, psychological status[self-rating depression scale(SDS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)],quality of life[European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30)],incidence of adverse reactions and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result The total effective rate of hemostasis in the observation group was 98.04%,which was higher than 82.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of SDS,SAS in both groups were lower than those before intervention, and the scores of all dimensions of EORTC QLQ-C30 scale were higher than those before intervention, the scores of SDS,SAS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of all dimensions of EORTC QLQ-C30 scale were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.92%,which was lower than 22.00%in the control group, the satisfaction in the observation group was 100%,which was higher than 80.00%in the control group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(P<0.01).Conclusion Systematic intervention applied to emergency patients with liver cancer compli-cated with gastrointestinal bleeding has a significant hemostatic effect, improve the quality of life and psychological state, reduce the incidence of complications, and achieve high satisfaction.
