Diagnostic value of fibrinogen, carbohydrate antigen 125 and human epididymis protein 4 combined detection in early ovarian cancer
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of fibrinogen(FIB),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)and hu-man epididymis protein 4(HE4)combined detection in early ovarian cancer.Method A total of 102 patients with early ovarian cancer and 100 patients with benign ovarian disease were selected as the ovarian cancer group and the control group, respectively. The levels of serum FIB,CA125 and HE4 were compared between the two groups and the ovarian cancer patients with different clinical stages. The pathological examination result was considered as the gold standard, the diagnostic value of FIB,CA125 and HE4 single and combined detection for early ovarian cancer were evaluated.Result The serum FIB,CA125,and HE4 levels in the ovarian cancer group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the serum FIB,CA125,and HE4 levels in ovarian cancer patients with stage Ⅱ were significantly higher than those in patients with stage Ⅰ,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The sensitivity,specificity,posi-tive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of serum FIB,CA125 and HE4 combined detection in diag-nosing early ovarian cancer were 92.16%,85.00%,86.24%,91.40%and 88.61%,respectively,and the sensitivity and neg-ative predictive value were higher than those of single detection of each indicator. Conclusion The FIB,CA125 and HE4 combined detection has high efficiency in diagnosing early ovarian cancer, and can provide reliable theoretical basis for early diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
