Value of urine circulating tumor DNA in early diagnosis and prognostic prediction of bladder cancer
Objective To investigate the value of urine circulating tumor DNA(ctDNA)in early diagnosis and prog-nostic prediction of bladder cancer.Method A total of 68 patients with bladder cancer were selected as observation group and 77 healthy subjects were selected as control group. The concentration of urine ctDNA was compared between the two groups, and the influencing factors of the prognosis of bladder cancer patients were analyzed by multivariate Lo-gistic regression model.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the diagnostic value of ctD-NA in early bladder cancer and the predictive value of prognosis.Result The urine ctDNA concentration in the observa-tion group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The sensitivity and specificity of urine ctDNA in diagnosing early bladder cancer were 0.868,0.985,and the area under the curve was 0.975(95%CI:0.953-0.996).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that ctDNA concentration was influencing factor for the prognosis of early bladder cancer patients(P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of urine ctD-NA in predicting the prognosis of early bladder cancer patients were 0.833,0.860,and the area under the curve was 0.864(95%CI:0.759-0.970).Conclusion The detection of ctDNA concentration in urine is helpful for the diagnosis of bladder cancer, and the operation is simple, convenient and non-invasive.The concentration of ctDNA in urine can predict the prognosis of bladder cancer, and the specificity and sensitivity are high.
