Diagnostic value of chest X-ray and multi-slice spiral CT single and combined examination for central lung cancer
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of chest X-ray and multi-slice spiral CT single and combined examination for central lung cancer.Method A total of 135 patients with suspected central lung cancer received chest X-ray and multi-slice spiral CT examination.Pathological examination results were used as the gold standard,the consisten-cy between the diagnostic results of chest X-ray and multi-slice spiral CT single and combined examination for central lung cancer and pathological examination results,as well as their diagnostic value for central lung cancer were compared.The coincidence rates between TNM stage of central lung cancer diagnosed by chest X-ray and multi-slice spiral CT sin-gle and combined examination and pathological stage were compared.The image features of multi-slice spiral CT exami-nation in different pathological types of central lung cancer patients were compared.Result Pathological examination re-sults showed that among 135 suspected central lung cancer patients,96 cases were positive and 39 cases were negative.The consistency between the diagnostic results of chest X-ray and multi-slice spiral CT combined examination(Kappa=0.563)for central lung cancer and pathological examination results were higher than those of single examination(Kappa=0.491,0.558).The accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value of chest X-ray and multi-slice spiral CT combined examination in the diagnosis of central lung cancer were higher than those of single examination.Pathological examination results were used as the gold standard,there were no significant differences in the coincidence rate between multi-slice spiral CT and chest X-ray examinations in the diagnosis of central lung cancer stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined examination of chest X-ray and multi-slice spiral CT examination has high diagnostic value for patients with central lung cancer.Multi-slice spiral CT examination can distinguish and differen-tiate different pathological types of central lung cancer.
