Application effect of preoperative IDEAS mode visits in lung cancer patients undergoing video-assisted mini-thoracotomy surgery
Objective To explore the application effect of preoperative IDEAS mode visits in lung cancer patients un-dergoing video-assisted mini-thoracotomy(VAMT)surgery.Method According to different intervention methods,80 lung cancer patients undergoing VAMT were divided into control group(n=34)and IDEAS group(n=46).The control group received routine preoperative visits,while the IDEAS group received preoperative IDEAS mode visits.The physio-logical indexes[pulse rate(PR),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),systolic blood pressure(SBP)],pain degree[visual ana-logue scale(VAS)],psychological status[Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)],hope level[Herth hope index(HHI)],satisfaction,length of hospital stay,and incidence of complications were compared be-tween the two groups.Result After intervention,the PR,DBP,and SBP of both groups were higher than those before in-tervention,the PR,DBP,and SBP in the IDEAS group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the VAS,HAMD,and HAMA scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention,and the scores of all dimensions of HHI scale were higher than those before intervention,the VAS,HAMD,and HAMA scores of the IDEAS group were lower than those of the control group,and the scores of all dimensions of HHI scale were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate in the IDEAS group was 100%,which was significantly higher than 82.35%in the control group,and the hospital stay was significantly shorter than that in the control group,and the differences were statis-tically significant(P<0.01).The total incidence of complications in the IDEAS group was 4.35%,which was not statisti-cally significant compared to 11.76%in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Preoperative IDEAS mode visits can ef-fectively improve the physiological indicators,psychological status,and pain degree of patients undergoing VAMT for lung cancer,increase the level of hope,and increase patients'satisfaction.
