Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of neuroepithelial cell transforming 1(NET1)in renal cell carcinoma(RCC).Method A total of 60 cases of RCC tissue,60 cases of paracancer tissue and 20 cases of normal kidney tissue were collected. The expression of NET1 in each tissue was detected by immunohistochemi-cal method, and the correlation between the expression of NET1 and clinical characteristics of RCC patients were ana-lyzed.Result The positive expression rate of NET1 in RCC tissues was significantly higher than those in paracancer tis-sues and normal kidney tissues, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).There were statistically signifi-cant differences in the expressions of NET1 in RCC tissues of RCC patients with different clinical stages, degrees of dif-ferentiation,lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis(P<0.05).The positive expression of NET1 in RCC tissues was positively correlated with clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis, and negatively correlated with dif-ferentiation degree(P<0.01).Conclusion The positive expression rate of NET1 in RCC tissues is high, and its positive expression is related to the differentiation degree, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis and clinical stage of RCC pa-tients.
