Objective To investigate the application effect of tumor-free technique in operating room in patients un-dergoing laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer.Method A total of 75 patients who underwent laparoscopic radi-cal resection of rectal cancer were divided into conventional group(n=35)and study group(n=40)according to different intervention methods. The conventional group received conventional intervention, and the study group received tumor-free technique in operating room on the basis of the conventional group. The surgery-related indicators, quality of life[Eu-ropean Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30)],complications,satisfaction and recurrence were compared between the two groups.Result The operative time and post-operative hospital stay in the study group were significantly shorter than those in the conventional group, and the intraop-erative blood loss was significantly less than that in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(P<0.01).After treatment, the scores of each dimension of EORTC QLQ-C30 in both groups were higher than those before treatment, and the scores of each dimension of EORTC QLQ-C30 in the study group were higher than those in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the study group was significantly lower than that in the conventional group, and the total satisfaction rate was significantly higher than that in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.0l).At 3 months after surgery, the recurrence rate in the study group was lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of tumor-free technique in operating room in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection of rectal can-cer can improve the efficiency of surgery, facilitate postoperative recovery of patients, reduce the incidence of postopera-tive complications and recurrence rate, improve the quality of life and satisfaction.
