Effect of systematic intervention on fear degree of disease progression, hope level, quality of life and nutritional status in patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery
Objective To explore the effect of systematic intervention on fear degree of disease progression, hope lev-el,quality of life and nutritional status in patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery.Method A total of 203 patients with colorectal cancer surgery were divided into control group(n=99)and observation group(n=104)according to differ-ent intervention methods.Patients in the control group received routine intervention, and patients in the observation group received systematic intervention on the basis of the control group. The fear degree of disease progression[fear of progres-sion questionnaire-short form(FoP-Q-SF)],hope level[Herth hope index(HHI)],quality of life[generic quality of life in-ventory-74(GQOLI-74)],nutritional indexes(total protein and hemoglobin),satisfaction and complications were com-pared between the two groups.Result After intervention, the FoP-Q-SF scores in both groups were lower than those be-fore intervention, and the HHI scores were higher than those before intervention, the FoP-Q-SF score in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the HHI score was higher than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of GQOLI-74 in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the scores of each dimension of GQOLI-74 in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the total protein and hemoglobin levels in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the total protein and hemoglobin levels in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the total incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion Systematic intervention can reduce the fear degree of disease progression and the incidence of complications in patients with colorectal cancer surgery, improve the hope level, quality of life and satisfaction, and improve the nutritional status, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
