Objective To investigate the application effect of mind mapping preoperative visit in patients undergoing breast cancer surgery.Method A total of 85 patients with breast cancer were divided into control group(n=41)and ob-servation group(n=44)according to different intervention methods. The control group received routine intervention dur-ing perioperative period, and the observation group received mind mapping preoperative visit on the basis of the control group. The anxiety emotions[state anxiety inventory(SAI)],disease uncertainty[Mishel uncertainty in illness scale(MUIS)],quality of life[functional assessment of cancer therapy-breast(FACT-B)],incidence of complications and satis-faction were compared between the two groups.Result On the day of operation, the SAI and MUIS scores in two groups were lower than those at admission, the SAI and MUIS scores in observation group were lower than those in con-trol group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At discharge, the dimensional scores of FACT-B in two groups were higher than those at admission, the dimensional scores of FACT-B in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complication in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group, the satisfaction score was significantly higher than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Mind mapping preoperative visit intervention can effectively improve preoperative anxiety emotions and disease uncertainty of breast cancer patients, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and improve the quality of life and satisfaction of patients.
