Objective To investigate the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and its relationship with clinical characteristics.Method NSCLC tissues and adjacent normal tis-sues of 95 NSCLC patients were collected,EGFR expression in different tissues were detected by immunohistochemical method, and the expression of EGFR in NSCLC tissues of NSCLC patients with different clinical characteristics were compared.Result The positive expression rate of EGFR in NSCLC tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The positive expression rates of EGFR in NSCLC tis-sues of NSCLC patients with lymph node metastasis and poor prognosis were higher than those of patients without lymph node metastasis and with good prognosis, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion EGFR is highly expressed in patients with NSCLC.EGFR detection can be used to diagnose NSCLC and predict prognosis, which is closely related to lymph node metastasis.
