Curative effect of single port endoscopic breast conserving surgery and open breast conserving surgery in the treatment of early breast cancer patients and the impact on breast appearance
Objective To investigate the curative effect of single port endoscopic breast conserving surgery and open breast conserving surgery in the treatment of early breast cancer patients and the impact on breast appearance.Method A total of 127 patients with early breast cancer were divided into single port group(n=63,single port endoscopic breast conserving surgery)and open group(n=64,open breast conserving surgery)using the random number table method.The clinical efficacy,perioperative indexes,quality of life[functional assessment of cancer therapy-breast(FACT-B)]and breast appearance[breast surface beauty score(BSBs)]were compared between the two groups.Result The total effec-tive rate of the single port group was significantly higher than that of the open group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.01).The operation time in the single port group was significantly longer than that in the open group,and the intraoperative blood loss was significantly less than that in the open group,and the differences were statistically signif-icant(P＜0.01).At 6 months after surgery,the dimensional scores of FACT-B in both groups were higher than those be-fore surgery,and the dimensional scores of FACT-B in the single port group were higher than those in the open group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).At 6 months after surgery,the scores of breast shape,incision scar,nipple areola status and pigmentation in the single port group were significantly higher than those in the open group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.01).Conclusion Compared with open breast conserving surgery,sin-gle port endoscopic breast conserving surgery has better efficacy in the treatment of patients with early breast cancer,and can reduce intraoperative blood loss and improve quality of life,and has a better cosmetic effect.
