Objective To explore the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT and intestinal filling contrast-enhanced ultrasound single and combined examinations for colon cancer.Method A total of 98 colon cancer patients who under-went preoperative multi-slice spiral CT and intestinal filling contrast-enhanced ultrasound examination were selected. The pathological examination results were used as the gold standard, the diagnostic accordance rate of multi-slice spiral CT and intestinal filling contrast-enhanced ultrasound single and combined examinations for colon cancer, lymph node metas-tasis,as well as T stage of colon cancer were compared.Result The pathological examination result showed that there were,35 cases of lymph node metastasis in 98 patients with colon cancer. The diagnostic accordance rate of the multi-slice spiral CT and intestinal filling contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined examination in diagnosing colon cancer was significantly higher than those of the single examinations, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the diagnostic accordance rate of the multi-slice spiral CT and intestinal filling contrast-enhanced ultrasound single and combined examinations in diagnosing lymph node metastasis of colon cancer(P>0.05).The pathological examination result showed that there were 25 cases of T1-2 stage,54 cases of T3 stage, and 19 cases of T4 stage. The diagnostic accordance rate of multi-slice spiral CT and intestinal filling contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined examination in diagnosing T3 stage and T4 stage of colon cancer were higher than those of the single examina-tions,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The multi-slice spiral CT and intestinal fill-ing contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined examination has a high diagnostic value for colon cancer.
