Objective To explore the effects of multidisciplinary intervention based on WeChat platform on self-man-agement level and psychological state of postoperative colostomy patients with low rectal cancer.Method A total of 198 patients with postoperative colostomy for low rectal cancer were divided into conventional group(99 cases)and observa-tion group(99 cases)according to different intervention methods. The conventional group was treated with routine inter-vention,while the observation group was treated with multidisciplinary intervention based on WeChat platform. The self-management level(self-management level questionnaire),coping style(simple coping style scale),psychological state[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],quality of life[the MOS 36-item short form health survey(SF-36)]and the incidence of ostomy complications were compared between the two groups.Result After inter-vention,the dimensional scores of self-management level questionnaire and SF-36 scale were higher than those before in-tervention,and the dimensional scores of self-management level questionnaire and SF-36 scale in the observation group were higher than those in the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After interven-tion,the positive coping scores in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the negative coping scores were lower than those before intervention, and the positive coping score in the observation group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the negative coping score was lower than that in the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS in two groups were lower than those be-fore intervention, and the scores of SAS and SDS in observation group were lower than those in conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of ostomy complications in observation group was lower than that in conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Multidisci-plinary intervention based on WeChat platform can effectively enhance the self-management level of postoperative colos-tomy patients with low rectal cancer, improve the psychological state, and enable patients to face the colostomy and subse-quent treatment with a positive attitude,so as to better improve the quality of life.
