Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of ultrasound blood flow parameters for lymph node metasta-sis in patients with thyroid cancer.Method A total of 110 thyroid cancer patients and 110 healthy subjects were selected as observation group and healthy group, respectively. All subjects underwent color Doppler ultrasonography examination. The ultrasound blood flow parameters[peak systolic velocity(PSV),resistance index(RI),pulsation index(PI),peak sys-tolic velocity/end diastolic velocity(S/D)]of the observation group and the healthy group were compared.Patients in the observation group were divided into lymph node metastasis group(n=59)and non-lymph node metastasis group(n=51)according to whether lymph node metastasis occurred, and the ultrasound blood flow parameters of the two groups were compared. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was plotted, the area under the curve(AUC)was calculated, and the diagnostic value of PSV,PI,RI,S/D single and combined detection for lymph node metastasis in thyroid cancer patients were analyzed.Result The PSV and S/D in observation group were significantly higher than those in healthy group, and the PI and RI were significantly lower than those in healthy group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The PSV and S/D in lymph node metastasis group were significantly higher than those in non-lymph node me-tastasis group, and the PI and RI were significantly lower than those in non-lymph node metastasis group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The AUC,sensitivity and specificity of PSV,PI,RI and S/D combined detection in the diagnosis of lymph node metastasis in patients with thyroid cancer were 0.905,96.12%and 90.64%,respectively,which were higher than those of each index single detection. Conclusion The PSV and S/D are high in patients with thy-roid cancer, while PI and RI are low.The combined detection of PSV,PI,RI and S/D has a high diagnostic value for lymph node metastasis in patients with thyroid cancer, and can provide a scientific reference for clinicians to make treat-ment plans.
