Objective To investigate the application value of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)in the differential diagno-sis of cystic lung cancer and thin-walled cavitary pulmonary nodules.Method A total of 110 patients with cystic lung cancer and 110 patients with thin-wall cavitary pulmonary nodules were selected as the observation group and the control group, respectively. All patients underwent MSCT examination,MSCT imaging features of the two groups were com-pared,and the MSCT signs of the two groups were quantitatively analyzed.Result There were statistically significant differences in lesion edge, tumor lung interface, number of air spaces, inner wall smoothness, internal structure,surround-ing structure, morphological classification, honeycomb sign and ground glass sign between the two groups(P<0.05).The wall thickness of air space in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion There are some differences in the MSCT signs between cystic lung cancer and thin-walled cavitary pulmonary nodules.MSCT examination is helpful in the differential diagnosis of the two diseases.
