Objective To investigate the correlation between thyroid hormones and blood lipid levels in women of childbearing age with thyroid cancer.Method A total of 128 women of childbearing age with thyroid cancer and 128 healthy women of childbearing age were selected as study group and control group, respectively. The clinical characteris-tics of the two groups were compared, and Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between thy-roid hormones and blood lipid levels in women of childbearing age with thyroid cancer. The receiver operating character-istic(ROC)curve was plotted, and the area under the curve(AUC)was calculated to analyze the predictive value of thy-roid hormone levels for hyperlipidemia in women of childbearing age with thyroid cancer.Result The levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, while the levels of free triiodothyronine(FT3),free thyroxine(FT4)and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that the TSH level in women of childbearing age with thyroid cancer was positively correlated with TC,TG and LDL-C levels(P<0.01),and negatively correlated with HDL-C level(P<0.01);the FT3 and FT4 levels were nega-tively correlated with TC,TG and LDL-C levels(P<0.01),and positively correlated with HDL-C level(P<0.01).Among 128 women of childbearing age with thyroid cancer,74(57.81%)had hyperlipidemia.ROC curve showed that the AUC of TSH,FT3 and FT4 combined detection in predicting hyperlipidemic in women of childbearing age with thyroid cancer was 0.933,and the sensitivity, specificity and Youden index were 0.969,0.867 and 0.836,respectively,which were high-er than each index single detection. Conclusion Thyroid hormones are related to blood lipid levels in women of child-bearing age with thyroid cancer. The increase of TSH level and the decrease of FT3 and FT4 levels will increase the risk of hyperlipidemia, clinical intervention should be actively symptomatic to correct dyslipidemia and prevent hyperlipid-emia.
