Effect of multi-dimensional self-efficacy intervention on hemodialysis compliance and negative emotions in patients with multiple myeloma undergoing chemotherapy
Objective To investigate the effect of multi-dimensional self-efficacy intervention on hemodialysis com-pliance and negative emotions in patients with multiple myeloma(MM)undergoing chemotherapy.Method A total of 40 patients with MM who underwent chemotherapy and hemodialysis treatment were divided into control group(n=19)and observation group(n=21)according to different intervention methods. The control group received routine interven-tion,and the observation group received multi-dimensional self-efficacy intervention on the basis of the control group. The hemodialysis compliance, negative emotions[self-rating depression scale(SDS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)],in-cidence of adverse reactions and satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Result The total hemodialysis compli-ance rate and total satisfaction rate in observation group were higher than those in control group, the total incidence of ad-verse reactions was lower than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After inter-vention,the SDS and SAS scores in two groups were lower than those before intervention, the SDS and SAS scores in ob-servation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclu-sion Multi-dimensional self-efficacy intervention can improve the hemodialysis compliance of MM patients undergoing chemotherapy, relieve negative emotions, and improve patients'satisfaction.
