Comparison of the efficacy of low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation under self-retaining laryngoscope and traditional laryngofissure in the treatment of early glottic carcinoma
Objective To compare the efficacy of low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation(LPRFA)under self-retaining laryngoscope and traditional laryngofissure in the treatment of early glottic carcinoma(GC).Method Ac-cording to different surgical methods,66 patients with early GC were divided into control group(n=33,received tradition-al laryngofissure)and observation group(n=33,received LPRFA under self-retaining laryngoscope). The surgical indica-tors,pain degree[visual analogue scale(VAS)],clinical efficacy, postoperative complications, quality of life[European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30)]and recur-rence were compared between the two groups.Result The operation time and hospital stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the amount of intraoperative blood loss was significantly less than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).One and three days after sur-gery,the VAS scores in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the total incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 3 and 6 months after surgery, the EORTC QLQ-C30 scores in both groups were higher than those before surgery, and the EORTC QLQ-C30 scores in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 months after surgery, there was no significant dif-ference in the recurrence rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of LPRFA under self-retaining laryngoscope in the treatment of early GC patients is good, which can accelerate the postoperative recovery of patients, reduce postoperative pain, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the quality of life.
