Objective To evaluate the differential diagnostic value of chest CT enhanced scan and MRI examination in the benign and malignant anterior mediastinal tumors.Method A total of 127 patients with anterior mediastinal tu-mors confirmed by pathological examination were selected and divided into benign group(n=82)and malignant group(n=45)according to pathological results. All patients underwent chest CT enhancement scan, and 24 patients underwent MRI examination at the same time. The imaging features of CT and MRI were compared between the benign group and the ma-lignant group, and the diagnostic efficacy of the two methods was compared.Result There were significant differences in CT imaging features such as morphology, envelope, boundary, density, degree of enhancement and uniformity of en-hancement between benign group and malignant group(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the shape,distribu-tion,tumor composition and boundary of MRI imaging features between the malignant group and the benign group(P<0.05).The sensitivity and accuracy of chest CT enhanced scan in the diagnosis of malignant anterior mediastinal tumor were higher than those of MRI,and the specificity was lower than that of MRI.Conclusion Chest CT enhanced scan and MRI examination have certain diagnostic efficacy for malignant anterior mediastinal tumor, and the diagnostic effica-cy of CT enhanced scan is better. In order to further avoid missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis, combined diagnosis can be considered.
