Expression of v-raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B and rat sarcoma oncogene in thyroid cancer and analysis of influencing factors of treatment efficacy in thyroid cancer patients
Expression of v-raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B and rat sarcoma oncogene in thyroid cancer and analysis of influencing factors of treatment efficacy in thyroid cancer patients
Objective To investigate the expression of v-raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B(BRAF)and rat sarcoma oncogene(RAS)in thyroid cancer and the influencing factors of treatment efficacy in thyroid cancer patients.Method A totol of 78 patients with thyroid cancer were selected as the observation group and 61 patients with thyroid benign tumor were selected as the control group.The expressions of BRAF and RAS in tumor tissues of the two groups were detected by immunohistochemistry,and the positive expressions of BRAF and RAS of the two groups and thyroid cancer patients with different clinical characteristics were compared.According to the treatment efficacy,thyroid cancer surgery patients were divided into successful treated and unsuccessful treated,and Logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of treatment efficacy in thyroid cancer patients.Result The positive expression rates of BRAF and RAS in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group,and the differences were sta-tistically significant(P<0.01).There was significant difference in BRAF positive expression in thyroid cancer patients with different family histories(P<0.05).There were significant differences in RAS positive expression in thyroid cancer patients with different TNM stages and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).Among 78 patients with thyroid cancer,48 were successful treated and 30 were unsuccessful treated.There were statistically significant differences in the levels of thyro-tropin,thyroglobulin,BRAF expression and RAS expression between successful treated and unsuccessful treated patients(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that RAS expression,thyrotropin level and thyroglobulin level were inde-pendent influencing factors on the treatment efficacy of thyroid cancer patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The positive ex-pression rates of BRAF and RAS in thyroid cancer patients are high,and the positive expression of BRAF is related to the family history of the tumor,and the positive expression of RAS is related to the TNM stage and lymph node metastasis.RAS expression,thyrotropin level and thyroglobulin level were independent influencing factors on the treatment efficacy of thyroid cancer patients.
