Analysis of the therapeutic effect of microscopic tumor resection in the treatment of brain glioma patients and the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of microscopic tumor resection in the treatment of brain glioma patients and the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence.Method The medical records of 82 patients with brain glioma who underwent microscopic tumor resection were collected. The range of surgical resection, complications and postoperative recurrence after 1 year follow-up of all patients were counted. The influencing factors of postoperative recurrence of patients with brain glioma who underwent microscopic tumor resection were analyzed by Logistic regres-sion model.Result Among the 82 patients who underwent microscopic tumor resection,59 cases(71.95%)underwent total tumor resection, and 23 cases(28.05%)underwent subtotal tumor resection. There was 1 case of impaired speech and 2 cases of dizziness and headache in these patients, and the total incidence of complication was 3.66%(3/82).Logis-tic regression analysis showed that age, tumor diameter, pathological grade, range of surgical resection and postoperative chemoradiotherapy were influencing factors of postoperative recurrence in patients with brain glioma who underwent mi-croscopic tumor resection(P<0.05).Conclusion The total tumor resection rate of brain glioma patients undergoing mi-croscopic tumor resection is high and the incidence of complication is low.Age,tumor diameter, pathological grade, range of surgical resection and postoperative chemoradiotherapy are influencing factors of postoperative recurrence in pa-tients with brain glioma undergoing microscopic tumor resection.
