Driver gene mutations in patients with lung adenocarcinoma complicated with regional lymph node metastasis and their relationship with clinical features
Objective To investigate the driver gene mutations in patients with lung adenocarcinoma with regional lymph node metastasis and their relationship with clinical features.Method A total of 100 patients with lung adenocarci-noma complicated with regional lymph node metastasis were selected, and the mutation of epidermal growth factor recep-tor(EGFR),anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK),ROS proto-oncogene 1,receptor tyrosine kinase(ROS1)and RET gene were detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).The driver gene mutations in patients with lung adenocarcinoma com-plicated with regional lymph node metastasis were analyzed, and the driver gene mutations in patients with different clini-cal features of lung adenocarcinoma complicated with regional lymph node metastasis were compared.Result The ge-netic testing results of 100 patients with lung adenocarcinoma complicated with regional lymph node metastasis showed that among single gene mutation,44 cases(44%)had EGFR mutations,19 cases(19%)had ALK mutations,6 cases(6%)had RET mutations, and 3 cases(3%)had ROS1 mutations. There were significant differences in EGFR mutation among patients with lung adenocarcinoma complicated with regional lymph node metastasis of different gender, smoking history and N stage(P<0.05).There were significant differences in ALK mutation among patients with adenocarcinoma compli-cated with regional lymph node metastasis of different gender and N stage(P<0.05).There were no significant differenc-es in ROS1 and RET mutations among patients with lung adenocarcinoma complicated with regional lymph node metasta-sis of different gender, smoking history, differentiation degree and N stage(P>0.05).Conclusion Patients with lung ade-nocarcinoma complicated with regional lymph node metastasis have EGFR,ALK,ROS1 and RET gene mutations, with EGFR being the main mutated gene.EGFR mutation patients have a lower risk of lymph node metastasis, and ALK gene mutation patients may have a higher risk of lymph node metastasis.
