Analysis of influencing factors of cervical lymph node metastasis in patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma
Objective To explore the influencing factors of cervical lymph node metastasis in patients with papil-lary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Method A total of 80 patients with PTC were selected, all of whom underwent rou-tine ultrasound,contrast-enhanced ultrasound and ultrasound elastography examinations.According to the pathological findings, the patients were divided into cervical lymph node metastasis group(n=34)and non-cervical lymph node me-tastasis group(n=46).Logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of cervical lymph node metastasis in PTC patients.Result Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in gender,microcalcification,contrast-enhanced ultrasound enhancement degree, average elastic modulus and elastic score between cervical lymph node metastasis group and non-cervical lymph node metastasis group(P<0.05).Multi-variate Logistic regression analysis showed that male, microcalcification, height enhancement of contrast-enhanced ul-trasound,and high elasticity score were risk factors for cervical lymph node metastasis in PTC patients(P<0.05).Con-clusion Male, microcalcification, height enhancement of contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and high elasticity score are risk factors for cervical lymph node metastasis in PTC patients.Clinicians should identify these factors and intervene early.
