Expression and clinical significance of Myc induced nuclear antigen 53 in gallbladder cancer tissues
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of Myc induced nuclear antigen 53(Mina53)in gallbladder cancer tissues.Method The expression of Mina53 in gallbladder cancer tissues and paracancer tissues of 62 patients with gallbladder cancer who underwent surgery were detected by immunohistochemical method. The expression of Mina53 in gallbladder cancer tissues and paracancer tissues as well as in gallbladder cancer tissues of gallbladder cancer patients with different clinical features were compared.Result Among 62 cases of gallbladder cancer tissues,Mina53 was positive in 49 cases and negative in 13 cases.Among 62 cases of paracancer tissues,Mina53 was pos-itive in 2 cases and negative in 60 cases. The positive expression rate of Mina53 in gallbladder cancer tissues was 79.03%,which was higher than 3.23%in paracancer tissues, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of Mina53 in gallbladder cancer tissues of gallbladder cancer patients with different invasion depth, lymph node metastasis, liver metastasis, differentiation degree,TNM stage, nerve invasion and vascular invasion were compared, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Mina53 is highly expressed specifi-cally in gallbladder cancer, and its expression is related to the invasion depth, differentiation degree, lymph node metasta-sis,liver metastasis,TNM stage, nerve invasion and vascular invasion.
