Application effect of individual intervention based on integrated theory of health behavior change in lung cancer patients undergoing radioactive particle implantation therapy
Objective To investigate the application effect of individual intervention based on integrated theory of health behavior change(ITHBC)in lung cancer patients undergoing radioactive particle implantation therapy.Method According to the different intervention methods,69 lung cancer patients who received radioactive particle implantation therapy were divided into control group(n=35,conventional intervention)and observation group(n=34,individual inter-vention based on ITHBC).The cancer-related fatigue[cancer fatigue scale(CFS)],compliance behavior(medical compli-ance behavior questionnaire),complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result Three months after intervention, the scores of all dimensions of CFS in both groups were lower than those before intervention, and the scores of all dimensions of CFS in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of diet and exercise management, drug management and self-manage-ment in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(P<0.01).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the satisfaction rate was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Individual intervention based on ITHBC can improve cancer-related fatigue and compliance behav-ior,reduce the incidence of complications and increase satisfaction in lung cancer patients undergoing radioactive particle implantation therapy.
