Clinical efficacy of Huachansu capsule combined with NX regimen chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with advanced breast cancer and its effect on immune function
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Huachansu capsule combined with vinorelbine+capecitabine(NX)regimen chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with advanced breast cancer and its effect on im-mune function.Method According to different treatment methods,91 patients with advanced breast cancer were divided into control group(45 cases)and observation group(46 cases). The control group received NX regimen chemotherapy, and the observation group received Huachansu capsule treatment on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, tumor markers[carbohydrate antigen 15-3(CA15-3),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)],immune function indicators(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+),adverse reactions and prognosis were compared between the two groups.Result The total effective rate in observation group was higher than that in control group, the incidences of neurotoxicity, bone mar-row suppression and gastrointestinal reactions were lower than those in control group, and the progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)were longer than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of CEA,CA15-3 and CD8+were decreased in both groups, the levels of CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were increased, the levels of CEA,CA15-3 and CD8+in observation group were lower than those in control group, the levels of CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Huachansu capsule combined with NX regimen chemotherapy is effective in the treatment of advanced breast cancer patients, which can improve the immune function, reduce the levels of tumor mark-ers,reduce the adverse reactions of chemotherapy drugs, and prolong the survival time of patients.
