Objective To investigate the application effect of chain quality control intervention based on quality con-trol circle(QCC)in patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy.Method A total of 84 lung cancer chemothera-py patients who underwent peripherally inserted central venous catheter(PICC)placement were selected and divided into control group(n=44)and QCC group(n=40)according to different intervention methods.Patients in the control group re-ceived routine intervention, and patients in the QCC group received chain quality control intervention based on QCC.The PICC puncture and catheter placement, prethrombotic status indicators[von Willebrand factor(vWF),thrombin-anti-thrombin complex(TAT),α-granule membrane protein-140(GMP-140)],quality of life[European Organization for Re-search and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30)],occurrence of catheter related thrombosis(CRT)were compared between the two groups.Result The success rate of one-time puncture and one-time catheter placement in QCC group were higher than those in control group, and the total incidence of CRT was lower than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of vWF,GMP-140,TAT and the dimensional scores of EORTC QLQ-C30 in both groups were higher than those before interven-tion,the levels of vWF,GMP-140 and TAT in QCC group were lower than those in control group, the dimensional scores of EORTC QLQ-C30 were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of chain quality control intervention based on QCC in lung cancer chemotherapy patients undergoing PICC placement can effectively improve the prethrombotic status, reduce the incidence of CRT,and improve the quality of life.
