Objective To investigate the effects of medical-patient-relative trinity intervention on negative emotions and quality of life in patients with rectal squamous cell carcinoma.Method A total of 106 patients with rectal squamous cell carcinoma were divided into control group(52 cases)and observation group(54 cases)according to different inter-vention methods. The control group received routine intervention, and the observation group received medical-patient-rel-ative trinity intervention on the basis of the control group. The negative emotions[self-rating depression scale(SDS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)],quality of life[Karnofsky performance status(KPS)score],incidence of adverse reactions and satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Result After intervention, the scores of SDS and SAS in two groups were lower than those before intervention, the KPS scores were higher than those before intervention, the scores of SDS and SAS in observation group were lower than those in control group, the KPS scores was higher than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidences of adverse reactions in observation group were lower than those in control group, the total satisfaction rate was higher than that in control group, and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The medical-patient-relative trinity intervention can allevi-ate the negative emotions of patients with rectal squamous cell carcinoma, improve the quality of life, reduce adverse re-actions and increase the satisfaction.
