Effects of empowering psychological guidance combined with pain intervention on pain and negative emotions in patients with liver cancer undergoing interventional therapy
Objective To investigate the effects of empowering psychological guidance combined with pain interven-tion on pain and negative emotions in patients with liver cancer undergoing interventional therapy.Method According to different intervention methods,109 patients with liver cancer who underwent interventional therapy were divided into observation group(n=54,empowering psychological guidance combined with pain intervention)and control group(n=55,conventional intervention). The degree of pain(McGill pain questionnaire),negative emotions[Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)],complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result After 2 weeks of intervention, the visual analogue scale(VAS),pain rating index(PRI)and present pain intensity(PPI)scores in both groups were lower than those before intervention, and the VAS,PRI and PPI scores in obser-vation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of intervention, the HAMD and HAMA scores in both groups were lower than those before intervention, and the HAMD and HAMA scores in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the total satisfaction rate was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion Empowering psychological guidance combined with pain intervention can reduce the pain degree of patients with liver cancer undergoing interventional therapy, improve negative emotions, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve satisfaction.
