Effect of thromboelastogram guidance on platelet transfusion efficiency and adverse event in patients with ovarian cancer
Objective To investigate the effects of thromboelastogram guidance on the platelet transfusion efficiency and adverse events in patients with ovarian cancer.Method A total of 86 patients with ovarian cancer were divided into control group(42 cases)and observation group(44 cases)according to different platelet transfusion methods.Patients in the control group received routine blood transfusion, and patients in the observation group received blood transfusion guided by thromboelastogram guidance based on the control group.Platelet transfusion, coagulation function indexes[prothrombin time(PT),fibrinogen(FIB),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT)],anticoagu-lant drug use and adverse events were compared between the two groups.Result The effective rate of platelet transfu-sion in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group, and the infusion times and total infusion time were significantly shorter than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).After blood transfusion,PT,APTT and TT were shortened and FIB was increased in both groups, and PT,APTT and TT in ob-servation group were shorter than those in control group, and FIB was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The utilization rate of heparin and the total incidence of adverse events in observa-tion group were lower than those in control group, the total dose of heparin was less than that in control group, and the treatment time of heparin was shorter than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Thromboelastogram guidance can systematically evaluate the coagulation status of ovarian cancer patients, and provide personalized transfusion guidance, which can improve the efficiency of platelet transfusion and coagulation function, reduce the incidence of adverse events.
