Application effect of Huachansu capsule in patients with advanced gastric cancer undergoing chemotherapy
Objective To investigate the application effect of Huachansu capsule in patients with advanced gastric cancer undergoing chemotherapy.Method A total of 82 patients with advanced gastric cancer who underwent chemo-therapy were divided into observation group(40 cases)and control group(42 cases)according to different treatment meth-ods.The control group received oxaliplatin combined with S-1(SOX)regimen chemotherapy,and the observation group received Huachansu capsule therapy on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,tumor marker[carbohydrate antigen 72-4(CA72-4),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9)],cancer-related pain[visu-al analogue scale(VAS)],quality of life[functional assessment of cancer therapy-general(FACT-G)]and incidence of ad-verse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result The disease control rate of observation group was 42.50%,which was higher than 21.43%of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treat-ment,the levels of CEA,CA19-9,CA72-4 and the scores of VAS,FACT-G in two groups were lower than those before treatment,the levels of CEA,CA19-9,CA72-4 and the scores of VAS,FACT-G in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the incidences of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of Huachansu capsule in patients with advanced gastric cancer undergoing chemotherapy is effective,can reduce the level of serum tumor mark-er,relieve cancer-related pain,improve quality of life,and does not increase adverse reaction.
