Diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT combined with MRI in hepatitis B cirrhosis complicated with small liver cancer
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)combined with MRI in hepa-titis B cirrhosis complicated with small liver cancer.Method A total of 70 patients with suspected hepatitis B cirrhosis complicated with small liver cancer were selected.All patients underwent MSCT and MRI examinations.Using pathologi-cal examination results as the gold standard,the diagnostic value of MSCT and MRI single and combined examination in hepatitis B cirrhosis complicated with small liver cancer were analyzed.Result Pathological examination results showed that 61 patients were small liver cancer and 9 patients were not small liver cancer(benign liver tumors).The sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value,and negative predictive value of MSCT in the diagnosis of hepatitis B cir-rhosis complicated with small liver cancer were 81.97%,88.89%,82.86%,98.04%and 42.11%,respectively,which had moderate consistency with pathological examination results(Kappa=0.481).The sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value,and negative predictive value of MRI in the diagnosis of hepatitis B cirrhosis complicated with small liv-er cancer were 85.25%,77.78%,84.29%,96.30%and 43.75%,respectively,which had moderate consistency with patho-logical examination results(Kappa=0.473).The sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value,and positive predictive value of MSCT combined with MRI in the diagnosis of hepatitis B cirrhosis complicated with small liver can-cer were 95.08%,66.67%,91.43%,95.08%and 66.67%,respectively,which had high consistency with pathological ex-amination results(Kappa=0.617).Conclusion MSCT combined with MRI has high diagnostic value in hepatitis B cir-rhosis complicated with small liver cancer,which can improve diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy,and reduce the rate of missed diagnosis.
