Effects of enhanced recovery after surgery combined with WeChat follow-up on postoperative rehabilitation and quality of life in patients with esophageal cancer undergoing surgery
Objective To investigate the effects of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)combined with WeChat follow-up on postoperative rehabilitation and quality of life in patients with esophageal cancer undergoing surgery.Meth-od According to different intervention methods,91 patients with esophageal cancer who underwent surgery were divid-ed into control group(45 cases)and observation group(46 cases).Patients in the control group received routine interven-tion,and patients in the observation group received ERAS combined with WeChat follow-up on the basis of the control group. The postoperative rehabilitation indexes, quality of life[generic quality of life inventory-74(GQOLI-74)],compli-ance behavior, complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result The first exhaust time, feeding recovery time and postoperative hospitalization time in observation group were shorter than those in control group, the total incidence of complications was lower than that in control group, the compliance rate and total satisfaction rate were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the dimensional scores of GQOLI-74 in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the dimensional scores of GQOLI-74 in observation group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically signif-icant(P<0.05).Conclusion ERAS combined with WeChat follow-up can promote postoperative recovery of patients with esophageal cancer undergoing surgery, improve quality of life and compliance behavior, reduce complications, and increase satisfaction.
