To meet the needs of home intelligence,intelligent folding machines was designed that can solve the problem of increasing workload and complex process of clothes folding.Firstly,the overall structure of the device was determined according to design requirements.Then, the structure design of the clothing transfer mechanism, clothing retrieval mechanism, folding mechanism, classification storage mechanism, and disinfection mechanism were carried out in functional modules.The circular guide rail type clothing transfer mechanism can save space while improving efficiency,while the mechanical claw type clothing re-trieval mechanism maximizes the flexibility of grasping.A flippable stacking board is used to simulate the manual stacking process,achieving simple and efficient clothing stacking.Finally,the virtual prototype de-sign was completed in the SolidWorks environment, verifying the feasibility of the design structure.The control software has been finished and functional testing of online system programs has been conducted.It meets the design requirements,and provides reference for the later physical design and production.
