Embedding of Party Organizations and the Improvement of Total Factor Productivity in Enterprises
The embedding of party organizations enhances the collective cohesion of enterprises and im-proves the efficiency of resource allocation,thereby enhancing the total factor productivity of enterprises.By data from non-financial enterprises listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen A-shares from 2021 to 2023,it empirically ananlyzed the impact and underlying mechanism of party organization embeddedness on total factor productivity of enterprises in this paper,based on measuring the degree of party organization embed-dedness and total factor productivity of enterprises.It found that the embedding of party organizations has a positive impact on the total factor productivity of enterprises;the embedding of party organizations helps to improve the total factor productivity of enterprises through governance and resource effects;there is het-erogeneity between state-owned enterprises and private enterprises in the effect of embedding party organi-zations on improving total factor productivity of enterprises;further testing of the estimation results reveals that the promotion effect of party organization embedding on the overall factor productivity improvement of enterprises is still robust.The role of party organization embedding was verified in improving total factor productivity at the enterprise level,providing some inspiration for improving modern enterprise systems.
