Aging Design of Medical Guidance Robot Based on Kano Model
Amid the intensifying challenges of an aging society,it is oriented towards unraveling the spe-cific needs of the elderly population regarding guide robots and their subsequent effect on user satisfaction in the paper. To enhance the effectiveness of products in meeting the particular demands of the target us-ers,the Kano model was employed to analyze the key elements impacting the elderly users' experience and satisfaction. The functional attributes of guide robots were explored through literature analysis and us-er research.Methodologies included desktop research, targeted user interviews and the design of a Kano questionnaire, followed by the application of the Kano model to filter and prioritize user needs. The Better-Worse coefficient analysis was utilized to ascertain the sensitivity of each need with respect to user satis-faction,allowing for the precise identification of user requirements for guide robots and resulting in a de-sign proposal with a high degree of age-friendliness.It demonstrates that the Kano model can provide ef-fective feedback for the age-friendly design of guide robots in this paper, significantly improving the usa-bility and satisfaction among the elderly, thereby offering valuable insights and a design rationale for the development and enhancement of related products.
