Characteristics and clinical significance of Lorenz-RR scatter plot in elderly patients with suspected atrial premature beats diagnosed as sinus arrhythmia by dynamic electrocardiogram
Objective:To analyze the characteristics of Lorenz-RR scatter plot in elderly patients with suspected atrial premature beats diagnosed as sinus arrhythmia by dynamic electrocardiogram. Methods:The results of dynamic electrocardiogram examination of 137 elderly patients over 60 years old with suspected atrial premature beats were recorded by Holter. The Lorenz-RR scatter plot of sinus arrhythmia was obtained by using Holter software and summarized. Results:The 137 patients with suspected atrial premature beats were diagnosed as sinus arrhythmia by dynamic electrocardiogram. The characteristics of Holter Lorenz-RR scatter plot were classified as follows:oblique"Y"shape was found in 58 cases (42.3%) of 137 patients,"rod-shaped dilatation"was found in 33 cases (24%),"rod-shaped"was found in 29 cases (21.2%),"irregular shape"was found in 13 cases (9.5%),"vertical separation"was found in 2 cases (1.5%),and"transverse separation combined with longitudinal separation"was found in 2 cases (1.5%).Conclusions:The dynamic electrocardiogram scatter plot is more convenient and accurate for the detection of sinus arrhythmia in elderly patients with suspected atrial premature beats, and has high clinical application value.
