In 1213, the Mongolian Army conquered Xuandezhou and Baozhou in the Jin Dynasty and expelled some civilians outside the city for slaughter. Yin Li from Xuandezhou and Tian Xi from Baozhou died on behalf of their fathers for filial piety, however, they failed. Their deeds were highly similar in elements and details, the values they demonstrated are the supreme status of traditional filial piety and the irresistible nature of fate,which epitomized the psychological trauma of ordinary people in Mongolian War of Jin Dynasty, and the differences between their deeds lies in historical origins, texts and later influences.
