Elegance is one of the important characteristics of Song poetry.As a great poet in the Northern Song Dynasty,Huang Tingjian is a typical representative of the trend of"taking words as poetry"and"taking talent as poetry",which has formed a strong elegant style.The elegant style of Huang Tingjian's poetry mainly shows the characteristics of being good at using the Canon,being careful in the law,being high in the spirit,and being elegant in the common.Its formation is closely related to the time environment of the Northern Song Dynasty and Huang Tingjian's personal poetics theory and pursuit of poetic art.By studying the elegant style of Huang's poems,we can more deeply understand the characteristics of his poetic aesthetic style,poetic syntax and ideological implication,and then explore the formation of his poetic theory system and its influence on the development of later studies and Song poetry.
